Alba Lombardía
Film writer and producer.
Since 2009, she has been involved in film projects with a strong documentary basis. Thus, for French and international co-productions. Archive and field research usually take an important place.
It all started doing field research as an AD, looking for characters and scouting locations for television-shaped documentaries. The field work appeared to be closely linked to the archival research, they nourished each other. So, she became a visual researcher too. Today she works as a writer and consultant for non-fiction films, beyond formats.
Some highlights on her CV are: Clémence et Ferdinand, Roger Grenier and Les jardins font la ville (all three by Florence Mauro), Slavery routes (Daniel Cattier, Fanny Glissant et Juan Gélas), The Nansen Passport (Valentine Varela), Les enfants perdus, une histoire de la jeunesse délinquante (Valérie Manns), CinéKino series (Laurent Heynemann), web series Check-in (Andrés Jarach) and Gymnastique (Arte), Restituer (Nora Phillipe) or Spoleto 60 ans (Benoît Jacquot et Gérard Caillat). She has also worked as a member of the production crews of Hélène Berr (Jérôme Prieur), Les Roms, des citoyens comme les autres (Samuel Lajus), Shoah, les oubliés de l’Histoire (Véronique Lagoarde-Ségot) and Le ciel du centaure (Hugo Santiago).
